ABOUT
Daughter of the Northeast Kingdom
Leanne Harple was born and raised in Glover, Vermont. She grew up in a small rural farming community, where her family made a living off of the land by growing Christmas trees and running a wreath business out of their garage. Leanne always loved to read and write, and chose to become a high school English teacher. After college and graduate school, she returned home and is now raising her own children in the same neighborhood, on the same dirt road, where she grew up. She has served her town as a former member of her local select board, a Justice of the Peace, and a public educator for many years.

Her Family
Leanne and her husband Jeremy are raising their children to appreciate the same small-town values that made Leanne who she is today. This means helping to take care of our environment, attending and appreciating local community events, and enjoying the natural and recreational resources that make the Northeast Kingdom so special.
